Corporate & Academic Services at Powell's City of Books is pleased and honored to have been selected as the conference bookstore for the 2008 OASL/WLMA Joint Conference in Portland. In addition to Powell's remarkable selection of used, out of print and sale priced books, we are happy to offer a 20% discount to conference associates and participants on most new books purchased at the City of Books from Wednesday, October 8th through Monday, October 13th. We will also offer a 20% discount on most new books preordered for your school or library.We will transfer books from any of our six Portland stores, five Oregon warehouses or numerous remote warehouses for pickup during the conference at Powell's City of Books or to be shipped directly to your school or library.
This discount does not apply to books purchased at the conference bookstore at the Oregon Convention Center, but we will be offering a special conference discount on many of those titles. In addition, we will be stocking Powell's New Favorites for the fall discounted at 30%!
Placing an Order
Since your order must be processed via Corporate & Academic Services to receive the preorder discount, you may browse www.powells.com for prices and availability, but you must contact one of our representatives at the City of Books to expedite your order.- Please use this order form to organize and place your preorder.

Details & Deadlines
- Please note the source of your order as indicated on powells.com.
- Orders for books coming from Local Stores or Warehouses must be received by September 26th, 2008.
- Orders for books coming from Remote Warehouses must be received by September 19th, 2008.
- We are unable to place backorders or to take orders for items coming from International or DVD Warehouses.
- Since schools & libraries must often look to a variety of sources for funding we offer various and flexible payment options.
