Such a wonderful, wonderful book! Not an inch of white space to be seen - each page is covered with fantastic artwork to inspire, as well ideas to spark anyone's creative side - even those not creatively inclined. Whether you're a writer, a painter, a drawer, or just an admirer, this book with tug at that innermost creative string in you.

Invisible Monsters
by
Palahniuk, Chuck
inkytinkywriter
, September 21, 2006
Any reader of [a]Palahniuk[/a] knows of his morbid sense of adventure and the plot that is never what it seems. In Invisible Monsters, the author takes it to a whole new level. In the very beginning, you are warned that the story will not follow in the norms of other novels, that it is filled with flashbacks and will jump back and forth, side to side. And it is this inconsistency and this wild, swirling storyline that will leave you unable to put this book down. Invisible Monsters deals with a well-known theme in our modern world - beauty. Enter the beautiful people and watch them fall. From a rich and popular model to a grotesque being inside and out, the narrator grips you and pulls you into a world of revenge, of downfalls, of the ugliness of human nature, and of invisibility. Nothing in this book is what it seems and it will leave you clutching to the world you know.
