State Of Emergency How Illegal Immigrati
by
Patrick J Buchanan
joesd888
, November 17, 2006
Buchanan is provocative in this book on some economic issues facing America, especially job and manufacturing transfers to lowpaid nations like Mexico, China and India. What is behind this movement? He says little. Also, there are equally serious issues: rising national debts and widening trade deficit. What is behind all this? His book says next to nothing. Deeper and more insightful books on these subjects: 1. China and the new world order; 2. empire of debt; and 3. China's global reach, which offer more real views on changing global business, investment, trade and politics.

Making Globalization Work
by
Joseph E Stiglitz
joesd888
, November 17, 2006
Stiglitz has written on several books on globalization. This is his latest book on the subject. Topical and timely, but it is very much on the surface. It is mostly opinions other than serious analysis on changing world. Far better books on the same subject: 1. China's global reach; and 2. China and the new world order. Both books offer realistic analysis and discussions on what is behind changing global business, investment, trade and politics. They further pinpoint opportunities and challenges.
