Cute hat patterns. Note: the book will not stay flat, I have to copy the page to knit the pattern.

One Skein 30 Quick Projects to Knit & Crochet
by
Leigh Radford

Cute projects, but the author uses really large skeins of yarn for a few patterns that I can't seem to find. Great resource to use up your stash or scrap yarns.

Great techniques and suggestions on embellishing, but the hats are all knit flat and not in the round and the scavres are all pretty simple.

This book has some really cute patterns (except the egg cozies), and I want to knit most of them, but I have only tried the brioche pattern and couldn't figure it out.

This book is a little overpriced for what patterns it has in it, but I constantly go back to it for the baby's ruffled hat and baby booties. The felted animals are cute too.

Caps & Hats Vogue Knitting

Vogue

Really great hat patterns especially if you want a challenge and like working in color/texture. The only downside is that I have to color copy the patterns because I can't get the book to stay open while I am knitting.

Socks Socks Socks 70 Winning Patterns from Knitters Magazine Sock Contest
by
Elaine Rowley

There are a lot of great sock patterns, especially lace and textured, but then there are some extremely difficult patterns for color and whimsical (like the socks on the cover). Great book that real people (not professional designers) compiled.

This book knits hats in the round mostly all from top down construction. I can't get mine to work without a giant hole in the top. Really cute patterns.
