	Carey, January 07, 2008 This is the completely revised version with up-to-date information on brain chemistry & neurotransmitters, based on Dr. Kathleen Desmaisons' work with thousands of alcoholics & addicts in sobriety centers & through her website, Radiant Recovery. Kathleen Desmaisons has a Ph.D in Addiction Nutrition. She developed the theory that some of us are born with a biochemistry that is more susceptible to addiction. She calls this "sugar sensitivity." Dr Desmaisons has a knack for explaining complex subjects in an easy-to-visualize way. Her tone is friendly & encouraging. If you have children, I would also recommend "Little Sugar Addicts" which Kathleen also wrote.
