The Worst Hard Time: The Untold Story of Those Who Survived the Great American Dust Bowl by Timothy Egan
	knel72, June 17, 2007 For those of us that are unfamiliar with the causes of the Dust Bowl this is an enlightening book. For those who are you will likely find it an excellent refresher on why we need to care about how we treat the land we live on. The personal stories woven between Eagan's retelling of the political climate of the day provide an easily read historical account of a great American tragedy.

King Bidgoods in the Bathtub with CD by Audrey Wood
	knel72, February 15, 2007 My children love this book. The illustrations are fabulous and the accompanying audio disc is delightful. The story is short and sweet so you won't mind reading it repeatedly, but kids will enjoy looking at the pictures for hours.
