I met Rudolfo Anaya in Albuquerque, NM, at a book signing. He is beyond charming and his personality is reflected in this amazing book. My mother is Northern New Mexico Spanish and these stories are her life. If you want an inside look at this beautiful culture and its people, I highly recommend this book.

Wolf Moon
by
Charles De Lint

I had not read a De Lint book before "Wolf Moon." I was quite surprised at how much I enjoyed this little book. It is an easy read, full of suspense and mystery, and, dare I say...fun! I really enjoyed it. It was a bit predictable and seemed to be written for school-age children, perhaps Jr. High-High school range. Sometimes I need an escape-from-the-world book and "Wolf Moon" did just that.
