Unorthodox The Scandalous Rejection of My Hasidic Roots
by
Deborah Feldman
bookworm21
, April 03, 2013
The Hasidic community has always been shrouded in mystery. Feldman allows the non Hasidic to venture into a world unknown to all but a few. Her brave descriptions of life in a world of rules and restrictions allows the reader to experience what it is like to live in a society where women are ruled by man made laws. Congratulations to Deborah Feldman for her courage and chutzpah!

Prodigal Daughter

Jeffrey Archer

A riviting story about the life of a woman who comes from humble but industrious roots and finds her own way into a productive and useful life. The main character shows intelligence, wisdom and courage as she becomes a leader in her generation. Archer is a very good storyteller. An enchanting book.

Is it true? Is it fiction? We will never know but we can speculate. Was there really a woman pope? This book leads the way for some deep thought on the subject. Well written and hard to put down.

All He Ever Wanted
by
Anita Shreve
bookworm21
, May 08, 2010
Using the language of the 1800's, Anita Shreve weaves a tale of a man who becomes obsessed with a woman. As the tale unwinds the reader is left to wonder where the story is going. Excellent read.

A book of life. Read, enjoy but benefit from the message. A lesson about how to find inner peace.
