This is a very enjoyable book. The characters are so well defined that you want to be included in their circle of friends. This book has been out awhile and I just happened upon it. Well worth picking up and once you do so, you will have a hard time putting it down.

This book is described as a high adventure book. It is not my usual type of reading material but I could not put this down once I started it... it has to be one of my now favorite books. The characters are well defined and the story slowly unfolds from Scott Garrison growing up in South Dakota to his adult self going on a yearly Vision Quest. He then gets caught up in the high adventure as does the reader. Beware, once you start you might be reading nonstop.

This is a great book to help you remember to find gratitude in your life. I am giving it to all my friends.

James Van Praagh takes us to the spirit world. This is an amazing book. I think everyone will be interested and should read this. It gives a new perspective on our loved ones that have passed on.

This book is an excellent resource for creating or recreating your living space. It includes everything to make the energy complete and pleasing.

Here is another must read from Don Miguel Ruiz. I listened to the CD version of this and liked it ever as much as The Four Agreements. It is a nice complement to his other books.

A timeless classic on how to live a good life. One everyone should read.

This is one of my favorite books this year. I was tempted a couple of times to quit reading... it is sad in parts... but I kept going and in the end found a complex, wonderful story told from the point of view of Enzo the dog. I recommend this to all. It is not at all a simple dog story but an essay on life.

This is a great book by an exceptional writer. The title makes it sound a bit woo woo but it is good for everyone. Take time and slow your life down a bit and listen. We live in such a fast paced world this is a reminder to change your pace.

Every woman should read this book. The title sounds a bit riske but it is actually a book about feeling good about yourself. When you find your joy the universe provides. Easy and fun to read.

I love the books by Ann Hood. This one is great as well.

This is not just another dog book. It is a must read for any animal lover.

Barbara Kingsolver and her family take a year to only eat what they produce or what is locally produced. The book is good to read and the CD is great to listen to. Barbara, her daughter and husband read their parts to the story making it very personal. Not only do you hear their story but lots of information about food production. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book on CD, as with all Barbara Kingsolver books it is a gift to read.

I agree with the previous post. Such a well done book. Nicholas Sparks is such a good writer and this true story puts you inside his family which is not your usual family down the block. It also hits on some the the great places to visit around the world. I recommend this heartily.

This book grabs you from the first page. It is a spiritual journey but told with such wit and humor that reading it is pure joy.

I read her book 'Angels 101' which which was an introduction. Angel Medicine gives more information and it an adventure story all in one. A fun book to read.

I think I found this book on recommendation on the Daily Dose. But it is worth a repeat especially at gift time. I first thought books would be suggested that we have all heard of... not so.. some are favorites of mine but many are new to me and have stood the test of time. Some are very different and the stories worth as much as the books.

A fun book that tells about angels as the title suggests... Angels 101. I could not put the book down once I started it.

It is always fun to find a new Christmas children's book. This one is fun and beautiful.

This is the most interesting subject....the Mind/Body connection. Christiane Northrup and Mona Lisa Schultz do a fantastic job in this CD set. I recommend this for everyone. I might just change your life.

For those of you that liked The Secret, here is another book that will leave you with a good feeling and more ways to have a positive outlook on your life.

This is a wonderful book. It is small but carries a big message. If you want to change your attitude and enjoy life more Karen Casey helps you with easy tools. It would make the world a better place if we all practiced her ideas.

Ann Hood is a wonderful writer and this book about her life is a treasure. I savoured each moment reading about her quest to restore faith in miracles while reliving a childhood rich in Italian beliefs and customs.

If you have heard the poem "The Invitation", reading the book enlightens the poem to more. If you have not heard the poem, you really should. A great book to have and to give as a gift.

This is one of the most inspiring books I have come across. With the same ideas as The Secret, your life is what you make of it. A daily reflection to help your day and life be all it can. .

Joan Anderson is such an excellent writer. Whether you are trying to find yourself or just want a good book to read this is the one. This was a brave experience and the lesson is for everyone. To discover what is inside of us is enlightening and necessary.

This is one of my favorite books. I have given it to several friends. It is an amazing book for everyone to read whether you are well or dealing with an illness. Bernie Seigel is an inspiration.

If you have not been introduced to Bernie Siegel this is a good first book to read. With all the mind and body literature coming out this is a fascinating topic. As always Bernie Siegel writes with humor and intelligence. I think this is the medicine we need to know about.

All of Don Miguel Ruiz's books are great. This one caught my attention and I find it very powerful. A good book for moments when you need inspiration or help with your life.

This book is a must read. If it only changes your outlook on life to be positive it is worth it weight in gold. If everyone would be happy and positive the world would be a better place. I have given this book out to friends and family and recommend it heartily.

A great book to read a little each day. 50 essays on ways to live your life to the fullest to be true to yourself. A self motivating book that makes you think and feel good.

A very pleasant book to read. I took it on vacation and read it in two days. Good writing and a different but compelling story.
