A lovely, lyrical novel that I felt bogged down a bit in the middle. Yet still, it leaves me with a good feeling and an impression that I have traveled a delightful journey of the senses.

If I was one to write in my books, marking favorite passages, this book would have been densely marked up. I loved it, the lyrical writing, the unique perspectives on humans and nature, and the presence of the Mountain. I'll be reading this book again one day.
