Cats Table

Michael Ondaatje wrote one of my favorite novels (The English Patient), one of my favorite books of poetry (The Cinnamon Peeler) and one of my favorite memoirs (Running in the Family) and in The Cat's Table he blurs his skills in all three genres into one beautifully lyric, spare, autobiographically-inspired novel which has the added bonus of a plot that includes prisoners, spies, and unattended boys who get themselves into all kinds of troublesome spaces.
