Easily the best, most shocking novel I have read in a long time. In fact, it was so amazing that I immediately bought the two books following it the moment I finished the first. Brilliant. Really, really brilliant.

The Believer, Issue 66

For the average citizen of the modern world the number one source of information is undoubtedly the Newsfeed on Facebook or perhaps the odd bit of gossip picked up from a friend of a friend. These two things have something that the common newspaper lacks--a human element. The Believer disseminates information in the most unique fashion that is informative with the touch of intimacy we all yearn for. Every writer in The Believer seems to adore their subjects and covers them in a unique voice, that informs, takes us along on a journey, and sometimes learns at the same pace we do. "Smoking Cigars Can Make you Think" begins as what most would believe is a regular travelogue, but soon transcends this designation as it reaches it's brilliant conclusion. The unorthodox book reviews are a delight as well, one review covers a book from 1934! The best part however is Louis C. K's biting advice in "Sedaritives." If you want to spend your green backs on something meaningful, spend them on a meaningful green paperback. The Believer will make you believe it's brilliance from the first page to the last.
