Thrills, Chills, and Ghosts!!!! The old Willis place is a book of suspenseful text, mysterious plot, and ghost that will make chills run up and down your spine. When Lisa and her little brother move into a small cottage, they discover a rather creepy lone house . Being the adventurous people they are, they went inside, and felt the presents of something, not alive,and not tangible. This book was a pretty quick read. Yet, it gave me GREAT pleasure! If you like nail biting stories, DEFINITELY put this on your reading list!

CHILLS, THRILLS and the magic of GHOSTS! The Old Willis Place was the most amazing, well described ghost story I have read. Lisa, and her little brother move into a cottage surrounded by a giant forest. When going outside to discover there new area, they come about the Old Willis House. "Shiver darted up my spine, a whisper swiveled around the cold crisp air... something was behind me, and it wasn't my brother." This book was quit full filling and if you want a quick, satisfying thriller, read "The Old Willis Place". Unravel the wonders of the whispers, secrets, and the murder of old Ms. Gray Willis.

What a pleasurable read! I am not a big reader, but I am on the 3rd book of the Gallagher Series. In the first book, I found myself completely connected to Cammie, the 15 year old who is unpopular, not confident, and feels as if life was against her. She has grown up a spy all her life and doesn't know how to grow up as a normal 15 year old teen. When her private, all girl's school goes on a field trip to the local carnival, she encounters this "hottie", who she swears was suppose to be the love of her life. As I was reading I felt happy, and as if I was the main character, or at least in the book. Sort of like reading a movie (if that is even possible). I did enjoy this book to the fullest of my capability. I do recommend adding this book to your MUST READ books list!

Running into the woods, after a pig that you are supposedly watching out for. For Taran, a young adult assistant pig keeper, this was the story that started changing his whole life. See this was not just a pig, but an oracular pig named Hen-Wen who held an extravagant amount of power. Not only did Taran want him back, but so did the Evil Horned King. Throughout the story, the chase for Hen-Wen continued with "thrashing and slashings". I felt disappointed with the book, because I started out having an expectation that some event would happen that would switch the book up and make it less predictable. Yet, my expectation was not full filled, and I could start predicting what was going to happen. The characters were entertaining though. There strange and corky personality made me want to keep reading. Fun characters, but just okay story line. If you like a story that will give you a small amount of pleasure and characters to laugh about, you should mark The Book of Three by Lloyd Alexander, down on your summer reading list.
