I didn't want to put this book down. I could definitely identify with his upbringing, being born the same year. It made me aware of his many personality traits that made him the unique, brilliant person he was, flaws & all. Most famous CEOS wouldn't have been that honest.

I loved this book. It brought insight into the life of Ernest Hemingway from his 1st wife's point of view. It gives you a feel for the life of Americans living in Europe in the early 20th century. Life was one big party, but it also told the story of the stress he felt to produce a best seller.
