Five Book Friday: Uncanny Graphic Novels
(0 comment)
We are in the thick of winter here in the Pacific Northwest, which means it's dark, damp, and chilly. Rather than escaping to stories with warmer, brighter climates, I personally want nothing more than to dive deep into gothic and uncanny fiction as the wind rattles my windows at night...

This is the beginning of a great adventure. The introduction of fantastic characters and a page turning story. I flew through this story which is grand yet very personal. It is torture waiting for the next book!

Great treasure trove of Malcolm's thoughts and ideas in his letters and speeches. I did not know this book existed and I am happy that I found it.

This book is my favorite of a great series. This is the book that will answer a lot if questions. Every book in this series has beautiful art on color pages, Dave McKean's is my favorite. If you were not emotionally invested in these characters after this book, you may be undead.

This one is my second favorite book of this series. This book introduces the rest of the group you will be adventuring with. Great art and your first glimce into Roland's future. The cover of this first edition is very memorable.

Beautiful edition! My favorite book of the series so far. This is an import edition, but is not signed and numbered as stated. Very nice edition anyway. Lots of action and intrigue.
