A charming story told from an unusual point of view. A delicious and delightful way to introduce Child's work to the younger generation and to upcoming gourmet chefs!

Courage Has No Color The True Story of the Triple Nickles Americas First Black Paratroopers
by
Tanya Lee Stone
venkatraman.padma
, February 03, 2013
Siebert Medallist and established author of several books, Tanya Lee Stone, has written another book worthy of the highest honors and awards. The story of Tuskagee and the bravery of the African Americans who contributed to the war effort was known to me and I am delighted that this book will make their story available to a wider audience. Not just merely "known" to a wider audience, but actually told in a way that is absolutely riveting. Just as her story about the "13 women who dared to dream" read the way the best fiction reads, so does "Courage has no color". Stone does extensive and painstaking research - and this book's depth reveals how much hard work she has done, in addition to displaying her remarkable talent as one of today's foremost nonfiction writers for children and young adults.
