About the Author
YANA PARKER launched her career as a writer and entrepreneur in 1978. Since publishing the national bestseller
The Damn Good Resume Guide in 1983, she went on to produce four more highly successful books for job seekers. Yana passed away in September 2000.
BETH BROWN was a contributor to Yana’s Damn Good newsletter; she has also contributed resumes and cover letters to many professional publications. She works as a resume consultant and has led a resume workshop for more than 15 years.
