andldquo; With over five million people in the United States alone suffering from Alzheimerandrsquo;s disease it has become one of the greatest challenges of our times. Without a prevention or viable treatment the disease marches on, destroying lives and families. The greatest difficulties lie with the caregivers left to tend to loved ones who canandrsquo;t understand what is happening around them. Dr. Eric Pfeiffer well understands the position these caregivers find themselves in as the disease progresses. No better person could advise caregivers on how to deal with the ongoing trials this disease presents. As a well-respected physician with over 30 years of experience in the field of Alzheimerandrsquo;s, he offers practical, concrete suggestions that can make a difference not just to the Alzheimerandrsquo;s patient, but also to the caregivers who often donandrsquo;t even realize how badly they need assistance.
