Publisher Comments

Blue Sargent has found things. For the first time in her life, she has friends she can trust, a group to which she can belong. The Raven Boys have taken her in as one of their own. Their problems have become hers, and her problems have become theirs.

The trick with found things, though, is how easily they can be lost.

Friends can betray.

Mothers can disappear.

Visions can mislead.

Certainties can unravel.

In a starred review, The Bulletin called The Dream Thieves, the previous book in The Raven Cycle, "a complex web of magical intrigue and heart-stopping action." Now, with Blue Lily, Lily Blue, the web becomes even more complex, snaring readers at every turn.

If anyone can make a grown-up person believe in magic, it's the incomparable Maggie Stiefvater. This third installment in "The Raven Cycle" is a veritable garden of wonders both terrifying and beautiful. I don't know how to adequately describe this series except to say that it is like absolutely nothing else out there. Not only is the storyline mind-blowingly unique and fascinating, but the characters are so compelling, so real, so believable that they live in my mind with an immediacy that few characters can match. Maggie Stiefvater is a master storyteller. If you pick up this book, prepare to have your heart and mind moved to wonder beyond imagining.

Maggie Stiefvater wows again with her thrilling installment in the captivating Raven Cycle series. Each page pulls you on, keeping you interested from the first word; you wouldn't dare but this book. The characters are likeable and you instantly fall in love with Gansey's charm, Noah's sweetness, Ronan's hard-edges, Blue's quirkyness, and Adam's resilient independence. I'll warn you, though, you won't be able to wait for the fourth book once you get to the end.
