Could you describe your latest book, One Hundred Percent Me?
A little girl is used to hearing questions about her looks all the time. "Where are you from?" "What are you?" These questions are a constant reminder from others that she is different. As she embraces her identity and culture, she teaches others that she belongs, that the differences they notice are part of what make her unique, special, and herself....

Willow knows she’s different from other girls, and not just because she loves tinkering with cars. Willow has a gift. She can look into the future and know people’s dreams and hopes, their sorrows and regrets, just by touching them. She has no idea where this power comes from. But the assassin, Alex, does. Gorgeous, mysterious Alex knows more about Willow than Willow herself. He knows that her powers link to dark and dangerous forces, and that he’s one of the few humans left who can fight them. When Alex finds himself falling in love with his sworn enemy, he discovers that nothing is as it seems, least of all good and evil. In the first book in an action-packed, romantic trilogy, L..A. Weatherly sends readers on a thrill-ride of a road trip - and depicts the human race at the brink of a future as catastrophic as it is deceptively beautiful.

They’re out for your soul . . . and they don’t have heaven in mind.

Synopsis

"Adrenaline-fueled. . . . A terrific, action-packed romantic thriller."- Publishers Weekly (starred review)

When Alex finds himself falling in love with his sworn enemy, a half-angel with links to dark and dangerous forces, he discovers that nothing is as it seems, least of all good and evil. In the first book in a red-hot paranormal romantic trilogy, L. A. Weatherly sends readers on a thrill-ride of a road trip -- and depicts the human race at the brink of a future as catastrophic as it is deceptively beautiful.

About the Author

L. A. Weatherly is the author of several books for young adults, including Child X. About Angel Burn, she says, "I've known Alex for a long time. He first came to me as a character almost twenty years ago, when he was a thief in a fantasy setting - an expert with knives rather than guns. Nothing came of that particular novel, but Alex always stayed with me. He refused to go away, in fact! And over the years, I began to wonder about redoing his story completely and placing him in a contemporary setting." L. A. Weatherly was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and now lives in England.

Contemporary Paranormal Willow has a unique gift that allows her to see the hopes and dreams of others. This has managed to set her apart from other girls and she has no idea why she has this gift just that she has it. Alex is an assassin that knows where Willow’s abilities come from. He knows that Willow’s abilities link her to forces that are both dark and dangerous. He is also one of the few humans around that have the ability and knowledge on how to fight those same forces. Then Alex does something he never saw coming and that was falling in love with his sworn enemy. Now nothing is as it seems and what he thought was good and evil isn’t what it seems either. This is a wonderful story that gives a spin on angels that the reader will never see coming. The story is engaging and gives the characters back stories in a way that makes the story even more interesting and manages to do it in a way that doesn’t bog the story down in too many details. The characters are very well written. Though the story does start out a little slow once it picks up the pace it never stops until the very last page. This book starts the trilogy out with a great deal of action and has enough twists and turns in it that readers will hate to put to down and will be eagerly looking for the rest of the books in the trilogy. If the other two books are anything like the first one this is one series that is sure to not disappoint readers.
