Excerpt from Report of Henry M. Naglee: Brigadier General, of the Part Taken by His Brigade in the Seven Days, From June 26 to July 2, 1862; Army of the Potomac
Being at the above position, I had, in anticipation of the above orders, received some entrenching tools from Gen. Peck, who at the same time had promptly responded to my call, and had sent Miller's Battery, 1st Pa. Artillery, to report to me at midnight of the 26th.
