Ulyssis Revisited follows nine year old Manolo Sanchez as he tries to make some sense of Spain's Civil War.Surviving the war, his struggles continue with vocational choices( priesthood or medicine), eventually choosing to become a medical doctor;a psychiatrist.Leaving Franco's post war Spain in 1958 with little money and even less of an understanding of the English language, he continues his post doctoral training in the United States with the expectation of an eventual return to his native country . Life, however, takes him in another direction. Experiencing obstacles and challenges throughout his life, Sanchez developed an acceptance and even an expectation of life's difficulties.But now, after nearly thirty years of a successful medical career, he may be facing his greatest challenge: retirement. But a few other surprises await him
