Synopses & Reviews
Have you already read and digested one of the more than 800 existing books that thoroughly explain the inner workings of Photoshop (or other image manipulation software), but were left disappointed over the lack of coverage explaining how and where to apply your newfound knowledge in practical and specific situations? If the answer is "yes", then this is the book for you. "Digital Abstract and Macro Photography"is as much a coffee tablebook as it is a technical instruction book. It teaches through visual inspiration (Wow! Thats beautiful. What did it take to make it so special?). It explains how to take and digitally process eye-catching, soul-grabbing photographs that take the photographer's vision further than its used to going. It explains production techniques that are particularly suited to this type of subject matter, presenting them in a very friendly but concise manner. The focus is on learning visually and inspirationally, rather than strictly verbally.
