Review
"Awesome cookbook. It’s filled with tons of recipes both quick and easy and also more complicated and time-intensive. The recipe descriptions are useful and hilarious. It’s also filled with pictures, both of the food, as well as of Matty and his family. You can tell it was filled with love."
"Matty never misses. Excellent recipes, unpretentious and earnest, and impeccably styled."
"The book has several unusual takes on salads. Far less lettuce and more of a focus on other green leafy plants(think Brussels sprouts, mint, basil, etc) which I think is a great idea. Really keeps the salad genre fresh and is new way to approach the often well trod and quite frankly frequently dull meal course.
The soup section was EXCELLENT. The sandwich section was fancier with a wider variety of sandwiches or nearly sandwiches that could be comfortably served at high tea to a backyard cookout."
