I received a review copy of this book in a publisher giveaway. It's an awesome book full of unique strategies for people interested in becoming a manager in a nonprofit. The topics covered range from execution strategies, HR issues, grant-writing, how to approach partnering, and lots of other things. I found the various sections focused on how to grow and develop your nonprofit the most useful. This is NOT a book on theory. The author is a retired nonprofit leader and they wrote the book to share everything they learned over their career. I found it down-to-earth and super helpful. If you are working for a nonprofit you should probably have a copy of this book to reference. Get a copy - it's practical advice will definitely help you advance in your career.
