Synopses & Reviews
A Game of You is the fifth volume in the story of
The Sandman.
A departure in style and tone for the series, as Morpheus, King of Dreams, takes a supporting role. A mix of several fiction genres, from fantasy to horror, A Game of You features a doll-like protagonist named Barbie, her pre-operative transsexual neighbor, a lesbian couple (Hazel and Foxglove, who also appear in Gaiman's Death graphic novels), talking animals, and a severed head.

Review
"Nothing less than a popular culture masterpiece, and a work that is braver, smarter, and more meaningful than just about anything 'high culture' has produced during the same period." Mikal Gilmore, author of Shot In the Heart
Review
"Along with all else, Sandman is a comic strip for intellectuals and I say it's about time." Norman Mailer
