Review
"Ample use of white space sets off the charming watercolour-and-gouache illustrations in muted colors. The many details on each page render a delightful glimpse into the animals’ cozy lives. Children will have fun discovering each creature’s personality….Every decorated initial alphabet letter is surrounded by a different floral motif to replicate a medieval Book of Hours for little ones." Review
"The text is…simple and effective in conveying the gist of each adventure and matches well with its complementary illustration….If it wasn’t a blasphemous thing to do to a book, I would cut Adventures with Barefoot Critters apart and frame its pages as each page is lovely to gaze at all on its own."
