Synopsis

APOTEOSIS DE CHARLIE PEIR es una novela que habla de la pasi n por la vida y de la desesperada resistencia frente a la muerte. En un ambiente mediterr neo aparentemente alegre y optimista, esta obra recrea la existencia cotidiana de la gente corriente a trav s de unos personajes que no se resignan al destino. Charlie es un hombre de mediana edad que vive en un hotel. Un d a, ayudado por su amigo Vicente, ingresa en un hospital y entra en coma a consecuencia de los excesos con el alcohol. Despu s de pasar unos d as debati ndose entre la vida y la muerte, cuando finalmente le dan el alta no sabe muy bien ad nde ir, pues no desea volver al hotel, pero no tiene otro domicilio. A Vicente se le ocurre la soluci n: una vida en comunidad mediante un pacto amistoso en el que Charlie aportar el dinero y Vicente la familia. A partir de entonces ambos caminan juntos, ofreci ndonos su particular visi n del mundo mediante un entramado de personajes variados y situaciones hilarantes que reflejan sin prejuicios el genuino esp ritu levantino. Ambientada en los ltimos treinta a os, Apoteosis de Charlie Peir es una obra contempor nea en la que se entremezclan humor, acci n y un cierto hedonismo.
