If your into alternate time lines then this is the series for you!!
This book takes place in a alternate medevil Europe. Where the power is not just held by the church but also by Wizards and magic.
But it isn't the mumbo Jumbo waive your arms around magic.
With extensive reasearch and set procedures it is verry much like Science or at least the stuff they teach at the school is.
Anyway Daimbert has become one of my all time Favorite Characters.
And the world is lush and vibrant
Its totaly worth the read!
