Basics is an import from Hay’s Australia, and the recipe measurements reflect this. Get out your scales so you can measure the grams, and remember that an American cup measures a bit less than an Australian cup, and you’ll be good to go. These recipes are Hay’s tried and true classics from her own kitchen, so you know you can count on them to be gems. While the recipes are workhorses, the cover art is coffee table quality.
