Bitch Planet is over the top like the exploitation movies it borrows from, but this graphic novel is also deep, funny, portentous, and timely as hell — writing and art in one glorious terror. Recommended By Doug C., Powells.com

Eisner Award-nominated writer Kelly Sue DeConnick and Valentine de Landro present the premiere volume of Bitch Planet, their critically acclaimed and deliciously vicious sci-fi satire. Think Margaret Atwood meets Inglourious Basterds. Discussion guide included.
Review
“An immensely refreshing read, aggressively addressing contemporary social issues through a futuristic sci-fi story with a predominantly female cast.” The Onion’s A.V. Club
Review
“Would you be interested in a bleaker Orange is the New Black, without the lily-white lead, in space? How about a ’70s woman-in-prison exploitation flick with all the exploitation replaced by women being actual characters? Then you should probably hike down to your local comic store (or to your digital comics retailer of choice) and pick up Bitch Planet.” The Mary Sue
Review
“A refreshing foray into the feminist exploitation genre.” The Guardian
Review
“There's a New Sci-Fi Women-in-Prison Comic in Town: Bitch Planet.” Bitch Magazine
