Excerpt from By-Laws of the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Virginia: Adopted at a Special Meeting of the Society, Held in Richmond, Virginia, December 15, 1905
Section 4. The place Of meetings Of the Society shall be determined by a majority vote of members present and voting at the annual or stated meeting and in case such determination shall not be made, the Standing Committee shall designate the place.
