About the Author
Irene Maddox taught music in public schools and sang and played professionally across the United States and Europe in orchestras, Broadway shows, and chamber groups as well as in a flute duo. She taught flute in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was on the staff of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Queens College.
Rosalyn Cobb worked with both children and adults in many different fields of music. She taught at the Community School of the Arts in Charlotte.
