Synopses & Reviews
The prayers of Psalms are deep with feelings of joy, fear, shame, sadness, and at times inconsolable rage. Our God in heaven awaits on His throne, pleased to receive the prayers of His children. Psalms is a study that helps broaden and deepen our understanding and experience of prayer by looking at the prayers of some of our spiritual ancestors: David, Moses, Asaph, and others. These prayers give us myriad examples of how we are to pray and what we are to pray for—examples God expects us to follow and emulate.

Synopsis
What it is and what it isn’t. It’s not being perfect. It’s not about being good enough. It’s not even if our victories outnumber our failures. It’s about our hearts. Do we want what God wants? Do we want to do things His way? Taken from the NavPress classic The Pursuit of Holiness, this book and included study guide show us that holiness isn’t an accomplishment, a grade we receive, or some trophy for our shelf. You won’t read this and “voila”–you’re holy. But you’ll read it and be challenged to start the process. Holiness is about following Christ––chasing after Him––and letting Him transform every segment of your life.
