Chitfu Yu Faces

Critics have compared Chitfu Yu's work to that of Francis Bacon. One of the most striking and individualistic contemporary Chinese artists, his work defies simple definition. Yu's trademark ink-on-rice paper works, uniquely mounted on canvas, combine Eastern and Western aesthetic sensibilities.
