We live in a society that dictates every area of our lives. For instance, it tells us how to dress, how to obtain money, where to live, who to date and what is considered beautiful. The list is endless. Although these trends are always changing, society's goal is to conform and control our way of thinking. Unfortunately, this way of thinking is accompanied with confusion, uncertainty, and instability. When you keep changing to please others, you ultimately live a life that God never intended for you to live. Eventually, you lose the identity He originally gave you and you unknowingly become a carbon copy. The good news is that you were chosen by God to do great things, despite your mistakes, background or limitations. He sees you as significant, powerful and valuable to Him.
