About the Author
Rebecca Patterson recieved an MA in Childrenand#8217;s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art and had her first picture books commissioned at the end of the course. Rebeccaand#8217;s work is inspired by her own childhood and her childrenand#8217;s lives, with stories often starting as games or something made up in the back of a car to amuse a child. She is the 2012 winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize for andlt;iandgt;My Big Shouting Day andlt;/iandgt;(published in the US as andlt;iandgt;My Big No, No, No Dayandlt;/iandgt;!andlt;iandgt;)andlt;/iandgt;.
