About the Author
Linda Granfield was born and raised near Boston and graduated with a master's degree in English from Northeastern University. She is the author of a number of popular nonfiction books for children, including the award-winning In Flanders Fields: The Story of the Poem by John McCrae and Cowboy: An Album, which was an American Bookseller Pick of the Lists, a Hungry Mind Review Children's Book of Distinction and an ALA Quick Pick. Ms. Granfield lives in Toronto with her husband and two children.
