Crank. Glass. Ice. Crystal. Whatever you call it, it's all the same: a monster. And once it's got hold of you, this monster will never let you go.

Kristina thinks she can control it. Now with a baby to care for, she's determined to be the one deciding when and how much, the one calling the shots. But the monster is too strong, and before she knows it, Kristina is back in its grips. She needs the monster to keep going, to face the pressures of day-to-day life. She needs it to feel alive.

Once again the monster takes over Kristina's life and she will do anything for it, including giving up the one person who gives her the unconditional love she craves — her baby.

The sequel to Crank, this is the continuing story of Kristina and her descent back to hell. Told in verse, it's a harrowing and disturbing look at addiction and the damage that it inflicts.

The monster returns, but it's addictive claws are as sharp as glass. This story, just like Crank, is dark, addictive, and almost disturbing. Hopkins can show to light the worst monsters and what happens when we fall trap to them. The lust, the alcohol, the sex, it's all there, and it's all twisted. Another story as dark and twisted as any other Hopkins book. But, you know you want to read it. It's just as toxically addictive as the first.

Well first of all I never really read books becuase none semmed interesting and my friend who loves to read gave me the book CRANK to read and after the first page I was hooked literally i finished the book in four hours because I couldnt put the book down it was so interesting, it also reminded me of how of my old school was with drugs and etc. I really cant wait to read GLASS the cover itself is intersting with the colors and the font its something that other book dont have that make it look good, but like they say "You cant judge a book by its cover" but this cover is different from others,it makes you want to just pick it up and start reading it there. Which is what im going to do when i see it....!!!!

I am not totally finished with this book, yet this incredibly moving story has touched my life and has made me want to do something to benifit myself. I have had I fall to alchohol even though I am still at a young age, it is not easy to quit and I pray for you and your daughter to have found a way to get away from addictions grasp. -Andrea 13/Wa.

Well I have never read this book but I read the first of the series: Crank, and I could not put the book down. It is an excellent book and is written very creatively. I am looking forward to this book as well as the ones that follow!

i just finished this book yesterday and i must say another absolutely amazing book straight form ellen hopkins. it was perfectly set up to go right along with where crank had left off and springs you right into the sequel of kristinas, "brees", future, or lack there of at the end of the book. i was not disapointed at all, not that i ever thought i would be. this book along with its prequel crank are the most amazing books ive ever read. and i wouldnt want anyone to go without reading these books. i absolutely love ellen hopkins writing and the description to every detail of kristinas addiction. i have experienced this addiction to meth first hand, that is from an outside view, of someone i loved very much. i wached him go through almost everytinhg kristina encountered. the mood changes. the apperance changes. the breaking down. its all so real and hit very very close to home. i would recomend these books to anyone anywhere looking for an amazing read and perfect look into the struggles of a teen in trouble going down the fast lane, the wrong way.

Another amazing view into the life that is Kristina Georgia Snow (Bree). In this book she takes a life threatening journey down memory lane, hand-in-hand with the Monster. This novel lets us realize that much like ourselves, Kristina has and always will stuggle with her past, and the realization of how hard it will be to keep it out of the present. Another unrequited book of wonder from the amazing author that is...Ellen Hopkins.
