Less mystery, more history...not a horrible thing if one loves visiting England via armchair. Our gal Ms. Meier hooks us nicely but is sparse with clues, blue and red herrings mid-story. She does however, keep us entertained with visits to The Tower, Whispering Gallery, Harrods and much more. The mystery picks up again and takes us to the end and a somewhat satisfying climax. Again, not a horrible book just doesn't have the mystery chasing, crime solving Lucy Stone we all came to know and love. Please Ms. Meier do bring back your "old" style of story telling. We like that best.
