Synopsis
Kelvin is a boy who loves all things "Superhero" and spends his playtime fighting off villains and other imaginary threats where he always saves the day. One day his fantasy world is interrupted by the reality of getting diabetes. But that doesn't stop Kelvin. When his doctor uncovers that Kelvin has superpowers, Kelvin takes an oath to become "Super K" the hero that uses his power to help kids with diabetes. Written in a comic book style with kid-friendly diagrams, and a glossary of words that help explain the illness, this book connects children and parents to the world of diabetes in a fun and engaging way.
