About the Author
Sharon Woodward is director of curriculum development for IntuiCare Training Institute, an online training program. She was a family child care licensor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 20 years, during which she visited thousands of family child care homes, facilitated licensure and renewal, monitored homes, investigated complaints, and provided technical assistance and training.
