Synopsis: A play within a play, From Out of the Whirlwind opens as a despondent couple finds an open church in which to pray, only to discover the church drama team rehearsing the story of Job. With drama, humor, and deep understanding, the characters of this Old Testament epoch come to life: the comforting friends, the three Persons of the Trinity, and Job -- the narrative's Everyman figure to whom all the audience can relate. The script is part realistic drama and part stylized revue.
