About the Author
Steven Bennett is Executive Director of the Horsemanship Safety Association (HSA). Developed in 1964, HSA is a program to teach safe riding techniques to instructors and equestrians. HSA received the National Safety Council's Community Safety Award for Exemplary Public Safety in 1985.Betty Bennett-Talbot is the President and Founder of the Horsemanship Safety Association (HSA). Developed in 1964, HSA is a program to teach safe riding techniques to instructors and equestrians. HSA received the National Safety Council's Community Safety Award for Exemplary Public Safety in 1985. In honor of HSA, Betty was inducted into the Horse and Rider Hall of Fame in 1996. Betty has also founded Heartland Horse Therapy, a riding program for people with disabilities.
