About the Author
John Vernon Lord dons many hats including author, illustrator, and teacher. His children's books have been published all over the world in a number of languages. His classic picture book The GIANT JAM SANDWICH, with verses by Janet Burroway, has remained in print since its initial publication in 1972 and continues to be loved by children of all ages. John Vernon Lord lives in Ditchling, Sussex.
