Arthur Wesley Dow (1857-1922) was an important figure in the Arts and Crafts movement who was also an artistic influence on, among others, Georgia O'Keeffe. As a photographer, he documented not only his native Massachusetts but the American West as well as sites in Europe and Asia. This volume surveys his work, his world, and his influence.
