Two weeks later Brenton Company became an actual entity when at eight o'clock on Monday morning the factory whistle called the former employees back to their respective positions. Brenton Com pany was a vastly different organization from what the Empire mill had been.
The employees liked the frankness of their employer and decided to do their part, feeling confident Brenton would live up to his promises. The looms hummed in the mill during the next three years, production was greatly increased and it became a prob lem to sell all the goods produced.
