Allia Zobel is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, New Woman magazine, and dozens of other newspapers and magazines. Roz Chast has been a cartoonist for The New Yorker for the past 19 years. She is the illustrator of The Joy of Being 50 Plus and is also the author of Proof of Life on Earth and five other cartoon collections.
