To create Legends of Drag, a photo book and archive of living drag history, authors Harry James Hanson and Devin Antheus took a queer road trip across the United States, visiting 18 cities to meet 78 American drag elders who shared intimate and powerful anecdotes from their lives. These queens are featured in stunning portraits styled with floral elements and shot in locations that hold special significance to the LGBTQ+ community.
