Synopsis
Excerpt from Life of St. Francis of Assisi
I must confess my obligations to the many students of St. Francis' history who have gone before me. It will not be invidious if I single out for special men tion the Franciscan editors Of' Quaracchi, P. Edouard d'alengon and M. Paul Sabatier, to whose patient labours all Franciscan research students gladly pay their tribute of grateful acknowledgment. But to all of whose labours I have availed myself, and whose names will be found in this book, I now render my thanks. Finally I must tender my respectful acknow ledgment to the most Rev. Fr. Pacificus of Sejano, minister-general of the Order Of Friars Minor Cap uchin, for his gracious approbation of this Life of the Seraphic Francis.
